A Great Reward June 2012

What do you get when you sell 552 Scout-O-Rama books?  Well, if your name is Caden, you buy Skylanders with the gift cards you earned.  We are so proud of the way he set a goal and worked non-stop to achieve it!  He was also the top seller in the District.  Way to go, Caden!

Vance's Last Day of Kindergarten 2012

Vance had a wonderful kindergarten year!  I was so impressed to see how social, kind, and obedient he was at school.  Mrs. Dreher is an excellent teacher who teaches with love.  On the last day, the kids played games on the field.  Vance participated in the frisbee toss, 3-man race, and the egg balance race.  I don't think he won any of the games, but it was fun.  Afterwards, they ate Popsicles and played Duck-Duck-Goose.

Sprinkler Day June 2012

Vance's school let the kids run through the sprinklers at the end of the year.  This was a day that accented the difference between Caden and Vance.  When Caden was in Kindergarten, he did everything he could to avoid the water.  Vance, however, happily ran through the sprinklers.  Caden and Danica came to watch.

Calee's Graduation from CSUF May 2012

Great job, Calee!  But, why are you still going to school a year later?

Father and Sons Camp Out and Princess Day May 2012

Each May, our church holds an annual Father and Sons camp out.  This was the first year since Tevye started camping with the boys that I had a girl to hang out with while they were gone.  So, I decided that every time Father and Sons rolls around, Danica and I will have a Princess Day.  It turned out that we also had to feed the sister missionaries that day, but once they left, we watched "Sleeping Beauty," because it's my favorite, and then "Princess and the Frog."  Of course, we had to have our royal crowns.  By the way, the boys had a great time camping.
