Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day was one of my favorites! Tevye took the boys and I on a little hike. It was a beautiful day. As we were exploring, we found some lizards, a ladybug, and a storm drain that was empty enough for the boys to walk through. After our hike, we tossed around a couple of footballs and played freeze-tag (per Caden's request). It was a fun family day!

It Only Took 8 Years!

Finally, after eight years of fruitless attempts to grow a flowering plant inside our dark-lit condo, this wonderful narcissus that I planted last month has bloomed. I can't believe how quickly the plants developed. The bulbs came from Target. They were selling them as a Christmas gift option. I wish that I was a better photographer so that you could see how beautiful they really are.
